     Located in Al Awabi Stat Specifically in Wadi Bani kharous , It's A beautiful village there are Ancient houses that were built on the same old-fashioned with a distinctive Yemeni inscriptions .

   You can see this houses in the up of the mountain .  Al aliya village is famous for agriculture and high mountains. It was built terraced houses on the mountain due to the lack of flat space .

Even in this place the government care about Education , so there are schools have been built across the region .

Eid al -Fitr come after Ramadan month , " Alfitr " meaning of Stop fasting after 30 days in Ramadan .

Many of people in Al awabi car to go to " Al Eid " like what you See in the pictures , woman , men Also kids they come together to Buy some sweets , meet people and say " Eid Mubarak " For all people they was know . It's is so beautiful to see people like that get together .

 That place in Al awabi " Specifically in ( Ah - Garb ) Every eid you can see people meet there .

 After back from Eid and pray , men get together to Slaughter the sheep or goats .

In Eid Al Fiter is not important to slaughter but in Al Eid Al Adhaa is important to Livestock slaughter .

   The Beautiful things when you visit you place and remember many memories that you has been lived it ,  I was lived in Al Awabi   before 11 years ago , that 10 years I has lived there learn me many things , still make for me a special memories and story in same time .

When you visit Al awabi you can see Old houses there still , that house may be tell as a big story 

 .happened in the past  , to learn  as we have  a large History in Oman we have to be proud 

 This is a Small place , they was learn Quran there in the past , a few things keep like this . From that we know in the past they cared to share the Arabic language with Quran , because our Islam is the important things in our place . Also me I was went to like these place to learned Quran when I was 8 years old . 

 That is our home when we was live there .

That Bookshop Surprised me when I saw it after 9 or 10 year before , I think it close or there aren't any bookshope , because I was want to this place when I live in Al awabi .

Is the most famous landmarks in Al Awabi is  " Al Awabi Fort " , Located at the entrance Wadi Bani Kharoos , if you want to visit Wadi bani Kharoos you should see the fort next wadi passageway .

Also called " Bait Al Fooq , Bait Al Garbi "  "Western House  , Over House " 

The fort was built during the reign of President Sheikh Jaad bin Khamis Al Kharusi (1147-1237h \ 1734-1821m).

Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid bin Sulaiman al Kharousi completed the construction of another part of the fort.

The goal of the fort? 

1 - To protect the country.

2 - Senate sitting place, imams and sultans.

A length of 36 m x32 m surrounded by a high wall and comprises two towers in the western pillars opposite the north-eastern and southern

Alway Ramadan Came with special event happened in our  village , In Alawabi they are have a nice habit in every Ramadan Named " Dish charity " it's very good idea to do that .

What is the objective?

- Educate people to donate in the month of Ramadan

- Help poor people  

- what is happening ?

The women cook Food appetite

They are sell this food in the dish charity , after that the money they have got it go to poor and needy people .

Oman has a lot of beautiful states  , But it is required to share and inform people about theme . I will write about my lovely state ( Al Awabi ) . The state is located in the southern Batinah , between Al Rustaq State and Nakhal State .

·       Do you know what is the old name ؟

Al Awabi State it was dubbed (Sony) This name is due to the vast mountain named Sony . It is possible to see the broad mountain near Wadi Bani Kharus .

·       State motto:

The book , pencil and ink: indicates the ancient science and knowledge . Al Awabi was famous for the existence of scientists like : 

- Nasser bin Rashid bin Suleiman bin Amer Al- Kharousi

- Sheikh Yahya bin Salim Al Kharousi

- Sheikh Saeed bin Nasser bin Rashid Al Kharusi

Al Awabi is famous Mosques, agriculture, trade, and science. also has high mountains and ancient villages .

Such as: the Al Eillya  village ,and Al Subikha village .
